First of all, about 97% of the world's snakes are non-venomous. Secondly, snake venom is effective when the venom enters the victim's blood. If the venom enters the stomach, it will be broken down by the enzymes of the digestive system, and lose its effectiveness.
However, it should not be tried by drinking snake venom, there may be an internal wound from which the venom can enter the blood. Along with this, there is no poison in the whole body of the snake, but the poison is only in the venom gland near its mouth, from where the poison comes to its sharp syringe-like teeth (fangs).
